Washington Oaks Gardens State Park Family Photos

Washington Oaks Gardens State Park is one of my favorite spots for family photos. With beautiful gardens and a beach, it’s a great choice when you want two different settings in one session.

For the Ball family’s photos, we started in the garden area before heading to the beach for golden hour. The light was gorgeous, and we finished with a beautiful sunset. It was incredibly hot, but both little ones did amazing!

I love the variety this location brings to a gallery. The greenery gives the garden photos a different feel from the open shoreline, so you don’t have to choose between a park session and beach portraits.

This session was especially meaningful because I’ve photographed the Balls for years, beginning with their maternity photos when it was just the two of them. Now they’re a family of four, and I’m so grateful to keep capturing these memories for them.
